Heat pumps are the dominant system across much of Arizona because they cool efficiently and provide heat without gas. They are also the system most often misdiagnosed. Charge accuracy, metering device performance and defrost control all have to be right.

- No cooling or no heating diagnosis with superheat and subcooling measurement

If your heat pump is running constantly, blowing lukewarm air in heat mode, or your electric bill spiked in winter, the aux heat is likely carrying the load. That is a repairable problem in most cases, and one we find weekly.
